Thank you - my name is Faye Dufour, and I live in the greater New Orleans area.  Before losing everything in Katrina, I reenacted in a variety of periods ranging from ancient Rome up to WWII.  Major concentration was on War of 1812 and American Civil War.  Attached to Plauche's Battalion (War of 1812), and 8th Louisiana (Boone's  Battery) for Civil War.  When doing my impression of a Catholic nun (Ursuline in War of 1812 and Mercy nun in Civil War), my group was the St. Alphonsus Catholic Field Chapel.

Look forward to chatting with others in the hobby, and perhaps re-connecting with old friends who I have met at events in the past.

Greetings all
I do hope I have come to the right place.
I belong to the Mosby Foundation in Warrenton, VA and we are having a Heritage Day representing all aspects of history.  I am in charge of the Living History Parade (Sept, 29th) , we are in need of re enactors/or re enactor groups that can dress the part for many aspects of history. e.g. Korea, Vietnam, Revol., WWI, WWII, War of 1812, and French and Indian War.
It is a wonderful day and we give wonderful credit, please if interested contact me, and we can talk more.

Well Hello There Everyone!

Just logged in to the chat.  What a great idea!

Intro about myself.  I'm Lisa.  I've been 'reenacting' for over 20 years.  Started at the Ren Faire in Oswego, NY and continued up and down the time line.  When I came out to the midwest, I hooked up with a Wild West group called The Kishwaukee Valley Vigilance Committee.  We've been doing Wild West impressions since 1997.  Some of the members are now sailing with the crew of the Archangel during the Golden Age of Pyracy.

I've attended RF1 and RF2.  Had a blast and can't wait for RF3 & RF4!  Look forward to meeting most of you...if not all of you!

Well Hi everyone.
now for the intro, I reenact 30 yrs war (the same unit the groomporter was in, and both me and the wife work for them also) And I all so do WW2 101st Airborne.
And I'm kicking around  the Idea of a British Zulu War or Victorian era.

Greetings,
I've been reenacting for over a year now. I'm strictly into the Napoleonic era and portray an officer of the Royal American Rifles. I've been trying to find some like minded people in Northern Ohio but we seem to be few and far between. I belong to the 95th Rifles in the UK and hope to do some reenacting in Europe next year.
